You could take Via Cola di Rienzo a famous clothes shopping street and in 15/20 minutes you'll be in P.zza del Popolo, and P.zza di Spagna and all the historic centre.
This area called Prati is elegant and safe, perfect for an holiday for location and services.
It has every kind of shops all around, cinemas, theatre, café, on the opposite street there are 2 supermarkets and in the back side in Doria street the extensive outside market, the flower market, banks and postal office.
