Dimora Altea is a Bed and Breakfast in Florence, centrally located, with the ability to provide optimum convenience for those who arrive either by train or their own car. It is easily reached by public transportation; at the same time, our B & B accommodation is great for those who enjoy a pleasant stroll through the streets of Florence, the historic center is just a 10-minute walk away.

Dimora Altea provide comfortable and bright rooms accommodation, with nice bedrooms all equipped with in-room bathroom, color television, mini-bar and air-conditioning. And even though the Bed and Breakfast is in a central position, the rooms are very quiet and guarantee a restful stay. All rooms are furnished differently from one another and reflect the typical Florentine style: antique terracotta, pastel shades and other design details which create a relaxing and intimate atmosphere.

At Dimora Altea you may enjoy breakfast either in the privacy of your own room or on the splendid attic terrace from which you can admire the city's rooftops, Brunelleschi's magnificent Duomo, the Fortezza da Basso, the bell towers of various churches and, in the distance, the beautiful Florentine hills.

Dimora Altea is located just 200 meters from Fortezza da Basso and 500 meters from the main train station (Santa Maria Novella) and is centrally located so that in ten minutes you may reach the city center or the principal thoroughfares.

If you arrive via TRAIN, exit the station (Santa Maria Novella) on the Via Alamanni side, at the end of which you will find Viale Fratelli Rosselli. Cross that street and then proceed on Via Guido Monaco. At the end of the street on the right you will find Dimora Altea at Viale Belfiore, 58.

If you arrive via CAR, exit the highway at Firenze Nord following the directions for the Centro (center) of the city. Take Viale Guidoni and Viale Redi that merge with Viale Belfiore in front of Dimora Altea.

From the Florence AIRPORT of Peretola (found at the Firenze Nord exit), follow the same driving directions above; or you may take a taxi or a shuttle bus which, in 15 minutes, can bring you to Dimora Altea.
